New Faro Gage for faster, accurate measuring

Faro Gage MachineThe recent addition of a Faro Gage Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) has given us an exciting new capability when it comes to the inspection and measuring of our products. The automated technology of the Faro Gage enables us to perform the most precise measurements far more quickly and with greater accuracy than was possible before. This in turn allows us to perform these essential routines with greater speed, thereby reducing lead times and effecting improved cost control.

New Mazak Machining Centre doubles capacity

Focus CNCConfirmation of our continued investment in production technology can be witnessed by the recent installation of the latest Mazak 410A Vertical Machining Centre. This impressive state of the art kit, which incorporates some of the very latest and most advanced developments in machining technology, will bring massive benefits for the machining of aluminium and stainless steel components up to 400 sq mm.

By virtue of the fact that this latest acquisition effectively doubles our machining capacity, customers can look forward to improved production turnaround and faster deliveries.

Flying the flag

Focus CNCEarly in 2008 we took our exhibition kit, plus numerous examples of precision-engineered components manufactured in our Ashton workshops, and set up our stand at ‘Southern Manufacturing’, an important exhibition staged in Farnborough, Hampshire. The exhibition attracted manufacturers from all over Southern England, many of whom, when they called onto our stand, were highly impressed not only with the quality of our engineering expertise, but also with the value for money we offer as well as the speed of service we pride ourselves on. Later in the year, we again took to the road, this time to the Reebok Stadium in Bolton for ‘North West Manufacturing’. It was the second time we had attended this event and once again visitors were hugely impressed with our quality, service and value.
